BQC took part in the 65th China Education Equipment Industry Exhibition that ran from 2 to 4 November in Chenghu, Sichuan province and that drew participation from 700 domestic and foreign vendors. The semiannual event is the largest education equipment show in China, and BenQ had a strong presence, showing interactive touch screen products such as the RM650 and RP700, along with the CT2200 Cloud Monitor.The RP700 with its ultra-large 70” screen was highlighted to great effect running education software from leading Chinese education software solutions developer HSJC, while the CT2200 was demoed with education software from Taiwan’s Newton popular science magazine for children. Attendees were highly impressed by BenQ’s interactive touch screen products shown in these realistic usage scenarios.In addition, BenQ exhibited super-narrow bezel PH460 displays in a 3x2 video wall, with a number of representatives from educational institutions expressing interest in purchasing this product to use in electronic bulletin boards in their schools.
The timing for each edition of the China Education Equipment Industry Exhibition is chosen to precede the budgeting process for the upcoming school term, enabling participants (including purchasers of educational equipment at the provincial, county, municipal, and district levels; administrators and teachers from primary, secondary, and tertiary educational institutions; vendors from various regions supplying the education market; and distributors of educational products) to showcase and exchange information about the latest education-oriented products and services. The event provides an important point of reference in procurement planning for the next school term and for market development.
