BenQ GH700在德國獲獎 (BenQ GH700 Receives Award in Germany)



BenQ GH700數位相機經過德國媒體PCgo 與Digital foto的評測,獲得很高的評價!
PCgo – one of the most influential ITC magazines in Germany – got a chance to review BenQ GH700.
The media especially evaluated BenQ’s super 21-times optical zoom, image resolution of up to 16 megapixel, which provides high quality in both - daylight and night time conditions. A fast image processing allows multiple types of continuous shooting.


Based on all reviewed factors PCgo awards BenQ GH700 with “Very Good”.
Another well-known photo- magazine in Spain “Super Digital Photo” published spread double page review of GH700 and really was impressed by the camera/ As the result: BenQ is placed on the cover of the magazine together with other A-brand cameras from Nikon, Canon and Panasonic!
The editor commented: “Focal range and ergonomics of the camera are two of its strengths. Realistic colours, a powerful zoom and night shot mode very well accomplished. With a very successful exposition mode, it is possible to solve the contrasts of light and also to offer very realistic colours.”

BenQ投影機前進俄羅斯大學 (BenQ’s Laser Projectors at the Best Russian Universities)



BenQ繼續在俄羅斯頂尖大學安裝投影機!上月當中,我們與Laserny Mir合作,克服技術困難,繼續在多所俄羅斯頂尖大學安裝BenQ的商用與教育系列投影機。



Following pan-European campaign "BenQ Laser Pilot Program" BQru installed BenQ Laser projectors in several TOP Universities in Russia.
BenQ Russia together with its partner "Laserny Mir" cooperated with Russian State University Higher School of Economics (HSE) and installed a new BenQ LW61ST at Business Informatics classroom.
Founded in 1992, HSE is one of TOP 10 Universities in Russia, has 501-600 world ranking and owns three regional branches in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm.

The installation challenges were caused by the ceiling mount and the requirement to use 16:9 projection screen. However the professional team of "Laserny Mir" could achieve great results by hiding all 20m of cables in the ceiling and connecting the projector with a teacher's PC which is placed in the opposite side of a classroom. So, from now on teachers can also use the projector via Wi-Fi. After the installation all the equipment became a property of HSE.

Next to the installation in the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, BQru arranged the installation of BenQ LW61ST at the Novosibirsk State University - the largest University in Siberia region. The installation was done by BenQ's partner "Technocity" and was highly evaluated by teachers and students.

The third installation of Laser projectors was done at the Kazan State Medical Academy, Kazan city, which is one of the biggest and famous Higher Medical Education Institutes in Russia. The installation was done in cooperation with "Giga Line" dealer and included an interactive Panaboard UB-T780 (77') and a Classic wall mount solution.

Recently the last installation of BenQ BlueCore Laser Projector was done by BQru together with “Laserny Mir” at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
One of the oldest Russian institutions of higher education, MSU was established in 1755. In 1940 it was named after Academician Mikhail Lomonosov (1711 - 1765), an outstanding Russian scientist, who greatly contributed to the establishment of the university in Moscow. Today the MSU takes 112 place in TOP Universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2011/12) and offers training in almost all branches of modern science and humanities.

BenQ Thailand加入Synnex IT舉辦的研討會和經銷夥伴溝通,向經銷商介紹我們的最新科技。並也在印度新德里參加教育展,得到許多正向回饋。


[Synnex IT seminars in 4 cities in Thailand]
In order to gain more business opportunities, BenQ Thailand joined our distributor, Synnex (a global IT supply chain services company) IT seminars targeting at VAR/SI partners as well as retail dealers in 4 cities from July 4th to August 23rd. At the seminar, attendants learned the new technologies and trends offered by several leading brands. BenQ also introduced the next generation BlueCore laser projector, LW61ST, which drew much attetion. Large size monitor and MS513P SmartEco projector were also demonstrated. Through these IT seminars, not only BenQ strengthened relationship with Synnex and the participants, the dealers also knew more about our products, which for sure will help enhance the business in the near future.
 
 [HCL Learning national sales conference in Delhi, India]
BenQ India succeeds in cultivating education market. On July 23rd & 24th, BenQ India joined a big education conference hosted by HCL learning, one of important Education SI in India. It was a 3-day conference in Delhi for entire sales and service team of HCL Learning. In the conference, there were around 150+ attendants and BenQ India got one hour slot to present our technologies and products.
At the event, BenQ India showcased SmartEco technology with MX815PST and Laser Projection technology with LW61ST. BenQ India also spent lots effort on product live demo and did receive lots of positive feedbacks. Moreover, the attendants, our right targets were highly interested in our products and BenQ brand recall definitely has been high.

7/3,BenQ參加馬來西亞INTIM教育展,展示BenQ投影機技術藍光、短焦、SmartEco在教室中的應用,吸引教育市場潛在客戶的注意。


On July 3rd, BenQ Malaysia joined INTIM, a yearly event on technology and software updates to Ministry of Education and government agencies, and spanning over the East Coast area of Malaysia. BenQ Malaysia set the product live demo to make attendants be able to fully visualize the classroom setup and know how it can be applied to their own educational institutions. BenQ IFP, T650, short-throw BlueCore laser projector LW61ST with SmartEco Advance, and wide format MW712 with SmartEco technology were showcased. Full lineup short-throw series and networking projection were also live demonstrated. From this seminar, BenQ Malaysia properly built up brand awareness in the right market and received important contact list for approaching potential customers.

泰國網咖繼續安裝更多RL系列電競顯示器 (RL series keep growth with gaming café in Thailand)



BenQ與泰國DCOM網咖合作,繼續銷售更多RL系列電競顯示器。預計在2012年內將安裝近15000-18000台的RL系列電競顯示器,也將透過共同主辦比賽並與通路商合作推廣BenQ品牌。


In Thailand, BenQ cooperate with DCOM, our important partner in selling gaming models, to upsize RL series sales in gaming café. DCOM own a gaming café brand named "D Sport Games" and plan to open 300-350 gaming cafés in 2012, all those gaming cafés will use BenQ LCD monitors around 15000-18000 units. In Q2, 12 new shops were opened in different cities of Thailand, the presence of BenQ brand image and POSM with gaming monitors were excellent and impactful.

To attract more gamers to come, shop-opening tournaments were arranged at D Sport Games branches every week. BenQ also sponsored D Sport Games tournament prize to award the winning teams, the 1st prize is THB 4,000.

In order to expand more D Sport Games and also push retail business, DCOM also hold Franchise Seminar and Dealer Training regularly to recruit new franchise and also enhance dealers’ confidence. BenQ Thailand participated in the seminar to introduce RL-series and give live demonstration.

An interesting creative idea always can draw fans’ attention, let’s see how fancy things happened in Turkey and India fans page in July, which also help attract more people to Like BenQ!

Cosplay in Turkey
BenQ Turkey had a joint promotion with local Cosplay activity at Yildiz Technical University. They invited participants shoot their costume photos in front of BenQ gaming wall on site, and uploaded the photo to BenQ Turkey fans page wall.  And the winner who got the most number of Likes on his/her photo won a BenQ DSC as a prize. The idea is simple but the photos were interesting since participants tried their best to show themselves.

The photo uploaded activity got 171 photos which formed a wonderful BenQ wall and created 416 people talking about this and have interaction with fans successfully.

Incrediable India! Photo contest in India
BenQ India hosted “BenQ Shutter grab photography contest” from 28th June to 30 July with the theme: “Incredible India”. They invited fans to upload the photos and informed their friends to like the photo, which enabled them got a chance to win a BenQ DSC as the prize.

During the campaign, the Incredible India album got 295 photos, 240 Likes, 73 comments and 27shares. It’s a good way to enhance the interaction with fans.
We encourage NS to create this kind of simple program to promote BenQ Fan page. But make sure you pick a good topic which could boost audiences’ interest and enhance their preference, and also make sure you’ve prepared very good contents on Facebook to keep those visitors.

BenQ數位相機在泰國以口碑行銷的方式傳達品牌概念提升能見度,除接受媒體專訪外,更以分享照片的互動活動來提昇BenQ相機的專業形象。


Glad to share some good word of mouth programs of BenQ DSC in Thailand, some nice travel photos taken in Bangkok were shared online already! The recommendation article was written by the technician of Digital2Home, a professional photo channel in Thailand. The Technician is well-known in digital camera field on online network, and he shared“One day travel in Bangkok with BenQ GH600” in Digital2Home official website, which is a portal providing DSC information, including spec comparison, review articles, users’ comments and so on. People always check camera’s information before they go shopping.

Meanwhile, another good article about GH200 was published by webmaster of klongdigital.com, which is the most popular website about camera in Thailand. The webmaster shared how to use a compact camera like GH200 to get a nice shot and introduced GH200 in details.

In Indonesia, the DSC media & dealer event took place on July 17th. G1, our hero products in Q3, along with full camera lineup, were introduced to representatives from 30 selected key media and 50 core dealers were invited for an in-depth product demonstration. Besides getting positive feedbacks, the PR effort is ongoing by the coming product reviews and the sharing of G1 album on Facebook.

To communicate business direction and introduce VA LED benefits with front-line people, BenQ Middle East worked with Israel's distributor to conduct a VIP Club event for LCD monitor on 23rd of July. Over 100 dealers and SI participated in and contributed their feedback about LCD business and products actively. Full range LCD monitors included VA LED and gaming models were well demonstrated to all dealers.

在印度,BenQ以社群行銷的方式邀請部落客共同體驗。我們向各位介紹GW系列顯示器的優點,並獲得社群宣傳效果。


No doubt it's a more efficient way if we can leverage social media to promote VA LED technology and spread it out. To further promote VA LED technology, BenQ India held a Bloggers Meet to gather over 25 influential bloggers through Twitter campaign, those bloggers all have over hundreds even thousands of followers on Twitter. Before event day, total tweets about our bloggers meet were over 700 and around 45,800 Twitter users were reached at this warm-up stage.

At the meeting, BenQ India well introduced our new GW series to the participants and give a mission to tweet this activity with #enjoyingwithBenQ headline. At the end, the tweet of #enjoyingwithBenQ was at #3 in India and at #3 in Delhi trends during the meet.

Not only aim to create online buzz through the bloggers meet, BenQ India also identify 5-6 people who could give in-depth product introduction online and now they're sending VA LED monitors and plan next product buzz targeting at more precise PC users.

7/18-19,亞太區舉行了下半年的顯示器PM workshop。共同討論產品策略以及商議並激勵達標。會後,我們希望所有的參與者都可以更了解產品進而達到銷售目標!

To communicate 2H business and marketing directions, also give new product training, the 2nd Display PM Workshop in 2012 was held on July 18th and 19th. At the meeting, all participants discussed product strategies and how to achieve T2V targets. An in-depth product demonstration was conducted (thanks to TPC's support) which enabled NS PMs to better market our products and technologies. After the workshop, we expect NS to well follow the company's directions and achieve our business goal.

BenQ Smart Classroom Camp順利成功 (BenQ Smart Classroom Camp a rousing success)


8/10於總部舉辦的BenQ Smart Classroom Camp順利成功,17位小朋友們透過自己動手做的3D立體眼鏡和投影機的活動,體驗到將科技融入學習中的過程,藉由愉快的活動拉近了企業和孩子們的距離,實踐關懷社會的BenQ CSR。

On 10 August, the BenQ Smart Classroom Camp at headquarters came off successfully. Seventeen children used 3D glasses they had made themselves and a projector to experience of incorporating technology into the learning process. The fun activity brought the company and children closer, another manifestation of BenQ’s CSR commitment.

MicroComputer is a long-running print magazine in China devoted to computing. It boasts a large readership of fans with an interest in IT. BenQ’s newly launched “The Way of Champion” series was not only featured on the cover of the magazine’s July issue, but two models in the series were given exclusive reports. 2012年BenQ數位相機最受關注的新品G1自發佈後,各區域已陸續開展針對G1的新品培訓會,截止8月7日,目前全國已累計召開7場,共計約200人次參與。

Since the announcement of the G1—the most widely anticipated new BenQ digital camera for 2012—training sessions on the model have begun in different regions of China. By 7 August, seven such sessions had already been conducted, with a total of around 200 attendees.

BenQ China成功跨界行銷 GP2,利用新媒體推波助瀾 (BenQ China successfully cross-markets the GP2, using new media to generate buzz)


寶馬MINI “年輕,時尚,潮流”等元素與BenQ mini投影機GP2十分的契合,為了更生動的向用戶傳達GP2的理念,BenQGP2攜手寶馬MINI與用戶深入互動,在MINI 車中感受mini投影機的魅力。互動活動以“光影隨行,城市駕車尋寶——GP2從投開始”為主題,通過在目前最為活躍的微博平臺,以及最後的落地,活動取得了很好的效果, 歷時兩周線上推廣,參與互動的人數超過2.4W人次,覆蓋人群400W人次,官方微博粉絲成長翻倍!為了深度的挖掘用戶,同時在活躍的論壇上徵集GP2的創意使用,讓用戶創意其中。基於ZOL,和pcpop兩大最為活躍的論壇,活動達到20Wpv,有24,141人次對活動感興趣,其中有2000人次參與活動中,徵集到創意和詳盡的GP2使用方案51個,方案的互動達,11863人次!最後,優秀的方案,徵集網友共同體驗,也由此拉近BenQ品牌與用戶的距離!

Qualities such as “youthful, stylish, and trendy” that are associated with BMW’s MINI automobiles apply equally well to BenQ’s mini-projector, the GP2. In order to more vividly communicate the idea behind the GP2, BenQ brought together the GP2 and BMW MINI in a highly interactive event with users, enabling them to experience the appeal of a mini-projector inside a MINI automobile. The event used “Take your show on the road with the GP2” as its theme. Taking advantage of China’s most active current microblogging platform, Weibo, the event achieved excellent results. After two weeks of online promotion, more than 24,000 people participated, with information visible to a community of 4 million, and official Weibo followers doubling. In order to reach a greater range of users, creative uses of the GP2 were solicited on active discussion forums during the event. With enthusiastic participation on the two most active forums, ZOL and pcpop, the event drew 200,000 page views, and 24,141 expressed an interest in the event, with 2000 actually participating in the event. 51 detailed and creative usage scenarios for the GP2 were received, with 11,863 people participating in the process. Finally, we invited members of the online community to try out these outstanding ideas for using the GP2, and by their doing so, we brought the BenQ brand closer to users.

With the establishment of BenQ’s professional gaming team, and high-profile sponsorships in tournaments both domestic and abroad, BenQ’s gaming monitors are receiving attention from an increasing number of gaming media outlets. Reviews editor Yang Zhao-long provided an extremely detailed review of the G1, and was extremely positive about it overall. After more than a month, BenQ China’s hands-on event for “The Way of Champion” series officially ended. The event was publicized on a number of popular hardware discussion forums such as PCeva, and drew registrations from more than 70 members of the online community. From these registrants, BenQ selected 27 to participate in a hands-on trial of the KX890 mechanical keyboard and X300 gaming system chassis. A total of 33 hands-on reviews were published, and articles related to the event received more than 45,000 page views. More than 1,200 posts were made, with six posts receiving more than 1000 views on the discussion forum, becoming a “hot” topic thereby. Participants in the hands-on trial included site administrators and discussion forum veterans. After gamers experienced the products first-hand, they provided the most authentic response to the experience. One said that the KX890 is “the black-themed mechanical keyboard that I most want to collect.” A PCeva community member used the seven brief days of the hands-on to hand-draw ornamentation of the side panel, expressing his DIYer’s passion for the X300.

G1在BenQ淘寶旗艦店的首發利用了新浪BenQ阿基獅這個平臺,前期將G1的各特點進行詳細的剖析,同時配以精美的產品圖及情境圖先吊足用戶的胃口,繼而以比官方售價低於1000元的噱頭吸引更多意向型客戶的關注,本次利用微博這個平臺共有2177人轉發,回復數量在1383次。有網友甚至表示「甭怪好不好用,我就是愛花這錢買著玩自己樂呵!」

For the launch of the G1 at BenQ’s Taobao flagship store, we used the BenQ Lion platform. In the initial stage, we presented a detailed analysis of the G1’s various features, while using beautifully designed product and usage scenario illustrations to spark user interest, following up by using a price 1000 renminbi lower than the official retail price to attract the attention of various types of customers. BenQ took advantage of a microblogging platform to gain publicity, with 2177 reposting and 1383 comments posted. One poster even exclaimed, “Spending the money to have fun like this is totally worth it.”

It was already August, and BenQ China commenced a sales promotion based on the theme “Avoid eyestrain while enjoying the Olympics”. Running throughout China, the promotion drew on eye-catching displays in retail stores, as well as a concerted product sales effort, creating even greater “heat” this summer.

On 11 and 12 August, the championship match for the first season in the G-League—one of China’s premier gaming tournaments—took place in Shanghai. BenQ was the official monitor partner for the tournament, and BenQ showed off all its gaming monitors, including the XL2420T, RL2450T, and RL2240H in its exhibition area. BenQ gave gamers a chance to get a sense of the triple-screen effect brought by BenQ’s flagship XL2420T monitor, allowing gaming aficionados a chance to experience for themselves the BenQ gaming monitors that are proving so popular among their pro brethren. Since introducing the title, the developers of popular Chinese online game Mengsanguo OL have been dedicated to building a broad-based gaming business. Since 7 August, BenQ’s GP2 pico projector has been official merchandise at the online Apple Store in China and Hong Kong. The GP2 is a miniaturized LED projector, and has received Apple’s official certification, enabling it to be used seamlessly with Apple’s iPhone and iPod products. Users can now make a purchase online from the comfort of their homes, and have a mobile cinema solution for their iPhone or iPod.

BenQ China七月員工活動包括大美青海湖旅遊活動與電影欣賞活動。7/17-7/23一行41人,走近大美青海湖,BenQer環抱西北高原,大口呼吸、大聲歡笑。電影欣賞活動則觀賞《愛的麵包魂》、《冰原歷險記4》兩部電影。

BenQ China’s July employee event included a trip to Qinghai Lake and a movie viewing. From 17 to 23 July, 41 traveled to famously blue Qinghai Lake. These BenQers enjoyed the plains of northwest China, breathing in fresh air and laughing aloud with joy. Featured for the movie viewing were two great films,  The Soul of Bread and Ice Age 4.

台北2012應用展於8/3熱鬧開展,雖因颱風停展一日,但後續數日的人潮並未因此而減少。BenQ 台灣區以「BenQ快樂視 樂翻天」為主題,將展場活動結合話題商品「全球最輕薄翻轉螢幕大光圈類單眼 – G1」,並推出買BenQ指定機種,就可玩樂透機抽G1相機,同時推升銷售熱度與新品話題。在周六8/4,更推出「BenQ G1軟Q自拍王」活動,邀請現場消費者上台感受G1輕巧自拍的特性,有效傳達產品的記憶點,並也吸引媒體爭相採訪。同時,各產品線的體驗展示區引人入勝,吸引更多消費者駐足攤位,帶動現場人氣!

The Taipei Computer Applications Show got off to a rousing start on 3 August. Though one day was cancelled due to a typhoon, large crowds attended over subsequent days of the expo. BenQ Taiwan’s exhibition space combined a theme emphasizing the fun that BenQ’s imaging products bring to life, with the much-discussed G1, the world’s most compact swivel-screen bright-lens camera. BenQ also held a promotion, with purchasers of selected BenQ models eligible to win a G1, that increased sales momentum and discussion of the product.  At an event on Saturday, 4 August consumers in attendance were invited onstage to experience how handy the G1 is for taking pictures of oneself, successfully communicating a memorable feature and attracting media coverage. At the same time, the hands-on area for various product lines also proved popular, drawing even more visitors to BenQ’s booth and adding to the energy.

2012 Intersolar North America 於2012年7月10~12日在美國的舊金山舉辦, BenQ Solar 在轉換品牌後首度參展,展出的展品包括了Residential Solution- AC Unison、PM300P00與PM245P00。在這次展覽上,特別強調Made in USA產品與Total Solution的概念,吸引了許多參觀者的目光,而攤位設計巧妙的運用企業色的搭配,讓BenQ Solar在眾多展覽商中更顯獨樹一格;與去年相比,拜訪攤位的人次增加了34%,也蒐集到許多潛在客戶的資料,有助於提高BenQ Solar 在北美市場的能見度。

2012 Intersolar North America took place from 10 to 12 July in San Francisco, and BenQ Solar was there, participating for the first time since changing its branding.  The products BenQ Solar exhibited included Residential Solution - AC Unison, PM300P00, and PM245P00. During the expo, BenQ Solar placed special emphasis on its US-manufactured products and total solution approach, attracting a great deal of attention from attendees. The design of the booth made deft use of the corporate colors, setting BenQ Solar apart from the numerous exhibiting vendors. Compared to last year, visitors to the booth increased by 34%, and BenQ Solar collected considerable information on potential customers, while increasing BenQ Solar’s visibility in the North American market.

BenQ Taiwan continues to promote its gaming monitors, and this summer vacation it invited gamers to experience the ultimate in gaming once more. On 6 July, just after finals were over, BenQ held a hands-on event featuring Diablo 3 on a BenQ gaming monitor, giving gamers a chance to experience the summer’s hottest online game, Diablo 3, on a BenQ monitor made expressly for gamers. Well-known Diablo master Michael Shih was on hand to share some tips for getting past levels, as well his experiences in using a gaming-centric monitor. As a Diablo ace, Shih is renowned for his passion for gaming and demanding attitude toward gaming equipment. On this occasion, he made a special appearance on behalf of BenQ’s gaming monitor, giving it a strong endorsement. The gamers in attendance were overjoyed, and after the exciting experience, were even more effusive in their praise for the ability of BenQ’ exclusive black-balance mode to precisely render on-screen detail, giving users a vital edge in their gaming endeavors.

To enable more consumers to understand the incredibly immersive viewing experience provided by BenQ’s first 3D Full HD home theater projector, BenQ Taiwan initiated a full-bore publicity campaign aimed at communicating in depth with consumers. First, it used the sustained exposure provided by advertisements in audiovisual specialty magazines, in order to add to the strong linkage between professional audiovisual equipment and the W7000, while simultaneously drawing on interviews by the magazines’ experts to reinforce the professional image of the W7000 and BenQ brand. Recently, BenQ Taiwan has organized consumer hands-on events, inviting AV equipment aficionados to experience the W7000 first-hand. Not only do such hands-on events effectively help bring BenQ closer to consumers, but subsequent discussion can create word-of-mouth marketing, and add to the attention that BenQ receives.
