3月11日下午，江蘇省傅自應副省長一行蒞臨南京院區對非公醫院發展現狀進行調研。傅省長一行參觀了醫院門診、國際醫療中心、康復科、商店街等處，並就醫院現況及未來發展與醫院管理層展開座談。
座談中，傅省長詳細瞭解了醫院的經營現況、未來發展以及運營中遇到的困難，並對醫院未來的發展提出幾點要求：一是目前的醫療改革，醫院會有很大的機會，醫療市場化程度會增高，臺灣90%都是民營醫院，要利用機會做好長期規劃，在南京市的醫療體制改革中搶佔先機；二是醫院要在特需醫療上面發展市場，著力提升品質，養生保健、高端婦幼、養老照護等方面統籌考慮；；三是要充分發揮民營醫院的優勢，引進優秀醫療人才，上海、北京等地名醫，提升服務水準，同時傅省長還著重瞭解與探討民營醫院與公立醫院在市場競爭中存在不公平的問題。
陪同傅省長一同調研的還有省政府副秘書長方偉、省商務廳副廳長趙進、南京市副市長胡萬進、市政府副秘書長張強、市投促委主任孔秋雲、市衛生局局長孫家興以及建鄴區區長張俊等省、市、區領導。
On the afternoon of March 11, Jiangsu Province deputy provincial governor Fu Zi-ying visited Nanjing BenQ Medical Center to perform a review of the development status of a non-public hospital. Fu toured the hospital’s outpatient clinics, international health care center, rehabilitation department, and shopping area, discussing the hospital's current state and future development with members of the hospital’s administrative staff.
During these discussions, the deputy governor was able to gain a detailed understanding of the hospital's current operations, future development, and the difficulties it has encountered in the course of operations. In addition, he made several requests with regards to the hospital’s future development: first, that with the current round of health care reform, the hospital take advantage of the enormous opportunity as the marketization of health care expands. In Taiwan, 90% of hospitals are privately owned, and he expressed the hope that BenQ Medical Center would use the opportunity presented by reform to make long-term planning and seize the initiative in Nanjing health care system reforms. Secondly, he observed that the Hospital needs to develop the market for special needs medicine, putting effort into raising quality, and consider developing human resources in areas such as lifestyle health and preventive medicine, maternal and infant care, and care of the elderly. Third, he noted that it is necessary to make the most of a private hospital's advantages and recruit excellent medical care staff, including well-known physicians from Shanghai and Beijing, to raise the standard of care. In addition, Deputy Governor Fu noted that he placed great importance on understanding and studying the issue of fairness in regard to market competition between private and public hospitals.
Accompanying the deputy governor in his review were provincial, city, and district officials, including deputy secretary of the provincial government Zhang Fang-wei, director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce Zhao Jin, Nanjing deputy mayor Hu Wan-jin, and Nanjing municipal government deputy secretary Zhang Qiang among several others.
