BenQ歐洲過去曾贊助的Pedal放映行動，繼續贊助GP3投影機在鄉村進行電影播放，讓當地居民更了解重要的環境與社會議題。
In January 2014 the films that we had produced together with Purple Field Productions and villagers from Dar Salam were finished and ready for screening. The first film “Trees and Stoves” speaks about the importance of trees in everyday life, how to plant a tree nursery, and how to construct a brick stove, while the second film, “Changing with the Climate” explains the importance of adopting new farming methods to adapt to climatic changes. Both films are in Mandink which is the local language in the area.
Over the last three months we have begun a programme using the film Trees and Stoves to inspire and train local groups of women to use wood in a more sustainable
way. Transportation and being away from home is often a problem for women living in rural areas however, so we constructed a motorbike chariot which allows us to travel with our cycle cinema system (including of course our BenQ Joybee GP3 projector)to screen films in neighbouring villages around the periphery of the park.
