On September 17, BenQ launched our new precision-color premium home projector series at Beijing’s Broadway Cinematheque MOMA, along with eight all-new business-oriented projectors. Journalists from 30 media in fields such as IT, professional multimedia, and popular entertainment—along with representatives from 40 resellers—were on hand to witness the historic moment. The launch event highlighted BenQ as the leading brand for home projectors, while raising awareness of the new Rec.709 standard for color reproduction in home projectors, and provided a forum for communicating with the assembled media about how accurate color makes superior projectors stand out. At the same time, the introduction of the premium precision-color home projector at the event set the tone for the second half of the year, during which the emphasis will be on higher-end, more sophisticated models for the home projector market.
