即日起，南京院區成為江蘇省省級機關幹部保健醫療定點醫院。患者持圖示紅色病歷本（按職級分為特約、特門兩種）且本上記載定點我院的可直接就診，就醫結算方式為記帳。
馳援天津獻愛心 獻血現場感人故事頻現
8月18日，由明基友達公益基金會、明基醫院仁心社、江蘇省血液中心聯合主辦的“援助天津，愛心獻血”活動，在南京院區門診大廳獻血屋順利進行。此次恰又不幸遭遇“8.12天津爆炸案”，天津血站血液告急。江蘇省血液中心已隨時準備調血馳援天津。
南京院區暑期兒童•免費體檢活動圓滿成功
為讓孩子們能夠及早發現疾病隱患，利用暑期時段儘早治療，由南京院區服務推廣科開展兒童暑期免費體檢活動。本次參與的科室有兒科、眼科、內分泌科、康復醫學科、口腔等科室，短短一個月左右的篩查，5次免費體檢共有250餘人參加，目前已有多名兒童已經接受治療，為活動畫上了圓滿的句點！
南京院區“服務關鍵時刻”微電影競賽成功落幕
為期近4個月的南京院區“服務關鍵時刻”微電影競賽，成功落下帷幕。共有29部作品進入初賽，13部作品進入總決賽。最終，心內科作品《時間就是生命》一舉奪魁，血透室護理站《一路同行》、產房護理站《微笑在臉、服務在心》分獲二、三等獎。
南京院區舉辦南京市區各三甲醫院神經外科聯席會
為加強南京院區與鄰近醫院神經外科行業之間的交流，舉辦聯席交流會。與會專家對醫院神經外科的發展也紛紛建言獻策，探討新的合作模式，共用醫療資源一起服務好病患，共同做好醫療服務工作，會議在良好的氛圍下拉下帷幕。
南京院區聯手十八頻道走進江東街道
8月25日上午，由南京院區服務推廣科牽頭，義診團隊攜手南京電視臺共同走進建鄴區江東街道，為群眾提供了一次貼心的義診活動和生動有趣的健康知識講座。同時，十八頻道《標點新聞》欄目也對此次義診進行了重點報導。
南京院區走進雨花臺允德社區，為老人義診
2015年8月28日，南京院區走進雨花臺區允德社區，為轄區年齡在65~80歲之間的退休職工及社區獨居老人舉行了健康講座和義診。本次義診共計70餘人次參加，通過此次義診，明基醫院的醫護人員的熱情和耐心給社區的老人們留下了深刻的印象，有效促進了該社區民眾對我院的瞭解。
南京院區與江寧三院及江甯區丹陽社區衛生服務中心展開合作
8月28日，南京院區一行7人走訪江甯區第三人民醫院，通過本次走訪，有效促進了該區基層醫院對醫院的瞭解，在雙向轉診，對口幫扶相關合作上達成了初步意向，取得了良好的效果！

receives official sanction as health care provider for provincial government
civil servants
Effective immediately, Nanjing
BenQ Medical Center is one of the officially sanctioned hospitals for civil
servants in Jiangsu provincial government. Patients whose medical records carry
a red coding (classified as either appointees or specialists) and whose records
list BenQ Medical Center as their designated hospital can receive expedited
care with medical billing handled on an account basis.
Tianjin blood donation drive
provides many touching stories
On August 18, the BenQ
Foundation, BenQ Medical Center’s benevolent association, and the Jiangsu
Province Blood Center joined forces to hold a blood drive in the lobby of the
outpatient clinic. The blood drive took place coincidentally just after the
Tianjin explosions on August 12, which resulted in a shortage of blood at the
Tianjin Blood Center. The Jiangsu Province Blood Center was ready to send blood
to Tianjin as needed.
Nanjing BenQ Medical Center’s
free checkups for children a success
In order to help parents be
informed of the benefits of early detection of potential disease risks in their
children, and use the summer vacation to obtain timely treatment, Nanjing BenQ
Medical Center’s services promotion department held free summer vacation physical
exams for children. Participating departments included pediatrics,
ophthalmology, endocrinology, rehabilitative medicine, and stomatology. In just
one month of examinations, we provided physical exams to over than 250 children
over five sessions. Several were found to have conditions requiring treatment,
which was provided, demonstrating the value of this event.
Micro movie competition
concludes successfully
Nanjing BenQ Medical Center’s “The
Critical Moment in Service” micro movie contest, which spanned four months,
came to a successful conclusion. A total of 29 movies were entered, with 13
making it to the final round. Ultimately, the cardiology department’s “Time is
Life” took first place, with “On the Road Together” from the hemodialysis
nursing station and “A Smile on the Face, Service in the Mind” by the delivery
room nursing station winning second and third place, respectively.

organizes meeting to promote exchanges with other hospitals
We organized a meeting to promote
professional exchanges between Nanjing BenQ Medical Center and the neurosurgery
departments at neighboring hospitals. The experts in attendance provided
numerous suggestions and ideas, exploring new modes of cooperation among the
institutions and ways to share medical resources to provide the best service to
patients. The meeting ended congenially as a great success.

On the morning of August 25,
the services promotion department worked with a Nanjing TV station to organize
a free health screening event on Jiangdong Street in the Jianye District. In
addition to free health checkups, we also set up interesting health-themed
lectures for the public to attend. Throughout, the local TV station provided
coverage of the event highlights.

On August 28, Nanjing BenQ
Medical Center provided health-related lectures and free health checks to
retired workers between the ages of 65 and 80, as well as seniors living alone,
in a Nanjing residential community. A total of more than 70 people
participated, and the event left seniors in the community impressed with the
enthusiasm and patience of our health care staff, while promoting better
understanding of the BenQ Medical Center.

On August 28, seven people from
Nanjing BenQ Medical Center visited the Third People’s Hospital of Jiangning
District. The visit promoted inter-hospital understanding, and established a
basis for establishing two-way referrals, making for a successful outing.

technology exchange
A meeting at which medical
professionals from China and Japan exchanged views on medical technology took
place in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. Well-known experts from the two countries
presented lectures on topics including pharmaceutical policy, drug management,
and practical pharmacist skills.
