BenQ與中華電信攜手合作，參與台中市交通局打造智慧型站牌建置計畫，將全面推廣建置智慧公車站牌，其中於台灣大道上30座38吋橫式LED螢幕的智慧公車站牌，八月於台中市全數正式上線啟用。配合公車亭及道路候車空間，BenQ 特地考量台中公車站的室外使用情境需求，發揮大型顯示設備工業設計強項，成功為台中市客製打造專屬應用智慧公車站牌，運用高亮度LED工業規格螢幕，可在戶外陽光下依然清晰顯示，以改善取代原有多支傳統立桿式站牌林立現象，對於整體市容美觀及公共運輸服務品質將有所提升助益。
BenQ is working with Chunghwa Telecom to build a system of smart bus stop signboards as part of a program administered by the Transportation Bureau of the Taichung City Government. Thirty locations along the city’s Taiwan Boulevard have been outfitted with 38” LED-backlit screens. These bus stop signboards officially commenced operation in August. In consideration of their outdoor location, BenQ drew on our expertise in the industrial design of large-format display equipment, successfully developing a customized solution for these smart bus stop signs, which use high-luminance LED-backlit industrial-grade screens that allow text to be clearly legible even under bright sunlight, offering a dramatic improvement over the clutter of traditional bus stop signs that each replaces. The new smart bus stop signboards offer Taichung citizens more attractive bus stops and an enhancement to the public transport experience.
