The BenQ BL3201PT falls in our test on a good all-rounder. It features a sturdy, attractive housing that offers many adjustment options, a comparatively low power consumption and with a wired remote control is a useful tool for device setup.
A high contrast and sRGB color space coverage of 99 percent make it interesting with good illumination and uniformity in color purity for image processing. In contrast, brightness distribution compromises have to be made, and after calibration also must be able to be lived with a slightly higher variation in the blue values. In both amateur settings should not be a problem but to acceptable.
The device also has a fast response time and low latency, so that players enjoy it having it. Hardcore gamers will probably miss the 120/144-Hz mode. Due to the good interpolation performance of this device it can also be fully recommended to casual players.
Due to the size and the 16: 9 format, the device is well suited for watching movies. However, must be dispensed playing 24 Hz. Available in PiP / PBP mode, but this was only equipped with basic functions.
Users who are looking for an all-round device than this monitor is value for yur money because it covers all areas well and must be lived with only slight weaknesses. It is currently also one of the cheapest models with 32-inch and UHD resolution on the market. Unfortunately, the BenQ BL3201PT missed by the poor brightness distribution of a "very good" in the final score.
