BenQ worked with Halar Cinemas on a series of events, with all the video walls in the cinema and shopping complex featuring content related to BenQ products—a mini movie on projectors, an ad for smart low blue light monitors, and a product video on the WiT e-reading lamp. In addition, we coordinated a Facebook check-in campaign, in which consumers who visited Halar Cinemas and shared an image of their ticket stub when checking in would receive a great BenQ product.
The event was also timed to coincide with the buzz around the new Star Wars movie, and we rented out one theater in the complex and treated BenQ customers to a free showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, making for a fun weekend.
