There are altogether 19 gaming events online and offline in August across the whole region. BenQ Japan is #1 for hosting 6 online tournaments. Big events include Indonesia Game Show in mid. August and Shadowloo Showdown in late August.
[ID] Indonesia Game Show 2014
The Indonesia Game Show, aka IGS, is the biggest gaming event annually in Indonesia. This year the IGS was held between 15 and 17 of August with more than 50,000 visitors. AFA, Anime Festival Asia, took place at the same period and venue with IGS, making IGS a more exciting gaming event.
90 DOTA2 teams and 30 CS:GO teams joined the event this year, and nxl, the gaming team BQ Indonesia sponsored won CS:GO champion. Congratulations! BenQ was recognized as the official monitor sponsor for IGS with distributor’s help to loan 250 XL series models and provide 1 XL2411T as winner’s prize. What’s more, a talk show was arranged to invite Eko Wijaya, Head of BQ Indonesia and the leader of nxl champion team to share their thoughts about BenQ gaming on the stage, followed by a Q&A session to interact with the audience. BenQ video display, POSM and banner were all over the exhibition hall showing BenQ being the leading gaming brand in the field.
