2012年5月10日，由中國電子技術標準化研究院主辦、北京賽西認證有限責任公司和電子資訊產品標準化國家工程實驗室聯合承辦的“2012中國碳排放認證認可技術國際論壇”在深圳隆重舉行。來自政府部門、行業協會、研究機構、大專院校、碳核查機構、碳交易機構、諮詢機構以及產業界的200多名代表參加了會議。會議旨在推進碳排放技術評價機制的深入研究、碳排放權交易體系的建立和應用推廣，助推中國低碳經濟的發展。
會議期間“賽西認證”為積極參加國家碳排放試點的企業，明基、富士康、聯想和華為等頒發了中國電子資訊行業首批碳足跡證書。
On 10 May 2012 in Shenzhen, the China Electronics Standardization Institute hosted the 2012 International Conference on China Carbon Emission Certification Technology, which was jointly organized by CESI Certification Corporation (Beijing) and the National Engineering Laboratory for Electronics and Information Technology Product Standardization. More than 200 representatives from government agencies, industry associations, research organizations, academic institutions, regulatory agencies with oversight on carbon emissions, emissions credit trading organizations, consulting agencies, and commercial enterprises participated in the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to advance research into technologies for evaluating carbon emissions, foster the establishment of emissions credit trading regimes, and promote further applications—helping China develop a low-carbon economy.
