BQau participated in PAX Australia at 10/30-11/1 for the 3rd consecutive year. Unlike last year, opting to not construct a stand and instead supply over 80 monitors consisting of XL, RL and XR series to support resellers, publisher titles and eSports tournaments.
40,000+ gamers, cosplayers and professional players attended the event over 3 days with Smite, CSGO, Fallout 4 and The Division being the most popular titles on show. Twitch.TV increased their presence this year, occupying a huge stand and streaming the entire event live with famous streamers from US – this coincided with the announcement that Twitch would construct a datacenter in Australia for improving future streaming performance in the region.
