BenQ’s F3 entry-level smartphone enables users to enjoy Facebook even without an account. Introduced last month, the new F3 smartphone offers a 4.5” screen and is targeted at novice smartphone users. The F3’s home screen includes a collection of carefully selected apps, including social networking apps Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Even if users have no Google account, they can check in with Facebook and make their first posts, making this Chinese New Year’s something special.

BenQ is introducing the F3, an affordably priced device with a solid design, demonstrating its ambitions to return to the smartphone market. BenQ is highlighting the F3’s 13-megapixel camera based on Sony’s Exmor RS sensor and F2.2 bright (large aperture) lens and features like an LED flash, HDR, zero-lag shutter, and 13 scene modes. The F3 comes with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, and offers a 4.5” qHD IPS screen, a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, while supporting microSD memory cards up to 32GB for additional storage.
