In February, BenQ Australia participated in 3 gaming events. Over 3,700 attendees were attracted to physical events and 1,200 viewers were reached via Live Streaming.
Call of Duty ACL Qualifiers – February 8th to 9th in Melbourne
BenQ Australia continues to supply 24 units of XL2420T to ACL Pro for conducting the Call of Duty Championship LAN Preliminary Qualifier on February 8th to 9th. It’s the qualification process for the Call of Duty Australian & New Zealand Call of Duty and the qualifiers can head to to the Call of Duty Championship ANZ Regional Final held on March 1st.
Defense of the Australians – February 22nd in Melbourne
Defense of the Australians is Australia's first official Dota 2 tournament league to be recognized by Valve. Their tournament games are streamed on DOTA TV for a ticket price of $6.99 and all tournaments appear in the in-game Dota 2 tournament lists. This means they have true world wide exposure for teams playing in our tournaments. BenQ Australia is well aware that Dota is getting popular in Australia and start the cooperation with Defense of the Australians to reach more Dota gamers.
Queensland University of Technology Orientation week - February 17nd to 28th in Brisbane
QUT Gamers Society is a community for QUT students (past, present or future) who like games, whether they are console, PC or tabletop based! BenQ Australia supplied some XL2420T for live demo during the Orientation Week from February 17th to 28th, which expected to reach more young college students through campus event participation.
