明基醫院傳遞愛心 院長為先 ——明基大愛助員工度過難關 (BenQ Medical Center employees, led by the president, donate blood for colleague’s father)

明基醫院蘇州院區健檢中心員工鄒琳的父親突發重症肝病，現入住蘇州第五人民醫院重症監護室，每天靠輸注人血蛋白及血漿維持生命體征。因目前血站庫存緊張，已幾日未能輸注。為幫助鄒琳父親度過危險期，蘇州院區組織大家積極報名獻血，奉獻自己的一片愛心。
生命呼喚血液，愛心需要奉獻。3月16日一大早，院長謝奇勳便帶領著院內醫護及行政工作人員奔赴獻血第一線。
鮮血有量，愛心無限，這些血液雖然對於鄒琳父親的病情來說只是杯水車薪，但卻滿載著明基醫院視同每一位員工為自己家人一樣的關愛。“謝奇勳院長親自為我父親獻血，我太太太感動了！”鄒琳激動地說。

When the father of Zhou Lin, an employee in Suzhou BenQ Medical Center's Health Examination Center, was suddenly struck with severe liver disease, he was admitted to the intensive care unit at the Fifth People's Hospital of Suzhou, his vital signs maintained with daily infusions of albumin and plasma. Because supplies of blood are currently tight, for several days he was unable to receive infusions. In order to help Zhou Lin’s father get past this critical stage, Suzhou BenQ Medical Center actively organized employees to register to donate blood.

Life calls for blood, and love requires sacrifice. Early in the morning on March 16, Hospital president Chi-Hsun Hsieh led medical and administrative staff efforts to donate their blood.

Blood may be limited in supply, but love is limitless. Although the donated blood is only a part of what Zhou Lin's father needs to recover from his very serious ailment, it is ample demonstration of the way all BenQ Medical Center employees view each other as part of a big family. Zhou Lin herself declared how moved she was that the Hospital's president personally donated blood to help her father.
