The new BenQ eVolo sound system was nominated for EURONICS Trend Award, as announced during IFA 2014 global trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances held in Berlin, Germany. BenQ Deutschland was very proud to receive this nomination from their valued retail customer EURONICS Germany. BenQ eVolo is an electrostatic speaker designed to deliver impressive sound quality. With a bluetooth module the speaker can play music from any paired devices.
EURONICS, Europe's largest buying group for consumer electronics, is an international organisation of independent electrical retailers who have joined together to form a cooperative partnership. EURONICS has created a new award and presented it for the first time at the IFA 2014. With the ‘EURONICS Trend Award’, the purchasing and marketing association honours manufacturers for their trendsetters, namely for their most innovative and promising products. A jury of six, consisting of members of the EURONICS International Board of Directors, makes this decision according to criteria such as ‘general marketing potential’, ‘specific usefulness of the product for the customer’ and if specialist trade requirements have been taken into consideration in terms of marketing quality and demand for advice.
The sound system BenQ eVolo impressed the jury to such an extent that it was nominated for the award instantly. The jury presented the innovative BenQ eVolo as the world’s first portable Bluetooth speaker with electrostatic technology. Although eventually Denon was the final winner, BenQ's nomination for this product, not even phased-in yet, can be considered as a big success and a perfect start for BenQ eVolo!
