(BenQ China’s 2 November “Reading for Hope” helps schoolchildren explore sound)

On 2 November, BenQ volunteers once again ventured to an elementary school for expatriate children in the small town of Mudu outside Suzhou, China.

The overcast skies began to clear as we traveled to the school, and everyone was in high spirits. On the road, the two teams of volunteers were engaged in a lively discussion of lesson plans. They practiced rhythmic handclap routines, and thought about how to give the children new insights. When the lesson began, the children began an energetic discussion about the question “How is sound produced?” As they listened to the familiar sounds from daily life, we discovered that each and every child is an outstanding observer.
