IFA 2012: Berlin is the home of the digital world. Berlin is the meeting place of the digital world. From 31 August to 5 September 1,439 exhibitors presented their numerous product debuts on a display area occupying 142,200 sqm (+ 1.4 %). The organisers are delighted with the participation of 142.300 (+7%) trade visitors, more than 42.800 (+11%) of whom came from abroad. With these numbers of growth IFA is underlining the global importance for the industry, trade and media. With more than 6,000 journalists at the event, 2,200 of whom were from abroad, this year’s IFA was once again a global media event.

And at IFA 2012, the ESL Pro series Berlin Open, called BenQ Finals were held from September 2nd until 5th whereas best StarCraft II players of the world were competing to become the winner of ESL Pro Series Summer 2012. In a knock out system with HasuObs, Daisy, ToD, Slivko, Bly and NightEnd in the last rounds of the finals, HasuObs won from Slivko and is the champion of this summer edition.
