明基醫院南京院區舉行大型義診活動迎接第20個全國愛眼日
為迎接第20個全國愛眼日的到來,南京院區服務推廣科與南京廣播電臺著名健康欄目“小芳健康網”攜手,於2015年6月6日在南京院區舉辦健康講座與義診諮詢。


明基醫院南京院區行政專題公開課——微電影製作技巧培訓
為進一步號召組織南京院區全院同仁參與到“服務關鍵時刻”微電影製作的活動中,HR特邀資深電影製作人陳健老師為大家傳授電影拍攝小技巧以及拍攝器材及軟體的使用小竅門。


明基醫院南京院區行政專題公開課上半年課程回顧
為進一步宣傳推廣“當責”文化,建設“學習型組織”,南京院區行政專題公開課於4月初開課,至今已有累計超過1600人次的同仁參加過系列課程,各位同仁對課程的平均滿意度達到91.2%。

行政一處處長Jason在首次課程中向處在科室第一線的前臺接待人員闡述面對各種類型的患者以及家屬時服務一線的同仁如何善於察言觀色,體察他們的真正需要。佳世達的著名講師KL Tan給剛剛成立的風險管理委員會帶來一堂內容豐富且實用性很強的風險管理訓練。緊接著,五月中旬醫務處潘明處長、五月下旬行政二處的處長李世竣、服務促進委員會孫秋莎、朱鎖芳以及前期HR曾特別報導過的帶領大家學習微電影製作技巧的資深電影人陳健分別給同仁帶來了有各自特色的課程,大家在愉悅的氛圍中相互學習交流,不僅提升了自身素養,亦增進了同仁的相互理解和默契度。六月初我們迎來了由護理部督導授課的第一次課程,各部儲備主管參加了錢進霞督導的品質管制課程,聽取了護理部PDCA品質管制提升控管的實施經驗。

明基醫院南京院區初階主管行政訓練開訓
5月30日南京院區迎來了2015年度初階主管行政訓練的第一天課程,一天的課程在愉快的氣氛中結束,來自不同部門以及院區的學員通過一天的共同學習已經熱絡起來,相信大家已經開始期待下一次的課程了。

明基醫院南京院區院慶月系列活動圓滿結束
五月悄然來臨,南京院區舉行了院慶月系列活動,以慶祝建院七周年。
5月19日,院慶月系列活動之第二屆病患安全我參與主題園遊會在門診大廳舉行。來自全院的各部門通力合作,為參與者展示了“病患辨識”、“有效溝通”、“手部衛生”、“手術部位正確”、“用藥安全”、“預防跌倒”六大主題攤位。各攤位以生動、活潑、互動的方式,讓患者、家屬及社區民眾參與到病患安全工作中,集知識性、實用性、趣味性於一體,為南京院區七周歲慶生。

明基醫院南京院區應邀參加江甯區紅十字會公益活動
為紀念世界第68個紅十字日到來,江甯區紅十字會於2015年5月8日在江甯區東山廣場開展公益宣傳活動。南京院區作為特邀單位參加了本次活動。由於前期我院剛成為江甯區農村醫療保險定點醫院,本著藉由本次公益活動提升我院在江甯區影響目標,服務推廣科高度重視本次活動,經與相關科室協調,特安排心血管內科,神經內科,護理部等多位專家,業務骨幹組建了“心腦血管病”義診專家組參加了本次活動。

明基醫院南京院區心血管內科六合瓜埠協作分部成立及大型義診活動
為更好地服務六合地區群眾,增強六合民眾對健康的關注,5月18日上午,南京院區心血管內科、泌尿外科、骨科、康復醫學科、神經內科、眼科共計7位元專家在服務推廣科的組織下前往六合區瓜埠社區衛生服務中心開展義診活動。

明基醫院南京院區心內科心導管室全面升級,月手術量攀升20%
自2015年3月28日起,明基醫院正式投入啟用全新的心導管室。第一台手術是一位急性心肌梗塞的外國病患,手術圓滿成功。心導管室的啟用,不僅僅是醫療硬體條件的改善,更是學科發展的新臺階。今後原心導管室將繼續使用,新的心導管室則作為心臟手術專用,大大增強心內科接診能力。據統計,自啟用一個多月來,心內科月手術量較此前增加20%,未來必將迎來更高的攀升!

明基醫院南京院區成功舉辦第一屆海峽兩岸心臟超聲形態學研討班
2015年5月23日,南京院區麻醉部舉辦2015年第一屆海峽兩岸心臟超聲形態學研討班。
15名來自山東、江蘇等各省市及本院參訓學員互動積極、反應熱烈,紛紛表示課程生動實用。為期2天的研討班通過短暫的集中教學達到最佳培訓效果,今後還將嘗試更多合作可能,為急重症麻醉醫師確立治療方案,提升醫療安全管理,為病患的照護帶來品質保障。

On the occasion of the 20th National Eye Day, Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's Services Promotion Office teamed up with a popular Nanjing radio station NBS program to organize a health lecture and screening at Nanjing BenQ Medical Center on June 6.

Nanjing BenQ Medical Center hosts training course on making micro movies

In order to further encourage colleagues at Nanjing BenQ Medical Center to participate in the production of the "The Critical Moment of Service" micro movie, the human resources team invited veteran filmmaker Chen Jian to provide instruction on filmmaking tips and how to make the most of video recording equipment and software.

A look back at Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's courses on administration-related subjects during the first half of the year

In order to further promote a culture of accountability, and build a "learning organization", a series of courses on administration-related topics was developed and classes began in early April. Thus far, more than 1600 colleagues (including individuals who have attended multiple classes) have attended this series of courses. Average course satisfaction among colleagues attending reached 91.2%.

During the first course, Jason, director of the First Office of Administration  described to receptionists from various departments how front-line personnel can better understand the actual needs of patients and their families through skillful listening and observation. Qisda's well-known lecturer KL Tan gave the just-established risk management committee a training session on risk management that was not only rich in content but also extremely practical. Following this were the course in mid-June taught by Pan Ming, director of the Office of Medical Affairs; the course in late June taught by Li Shi-jun, director of the Second Office of Administration, Service Promotion Committee members Sun Qiu-sha and Shi Suo-fang; and a number of courses, each with its own distinctive character and described in a special report in the last issue, taught by veteran filmmaker Chen Jian-fen. In these courses, he shows everyone how to master micro movie production techniques, while also deepening colleagues' understanding of each other and their ability to collaborate effectively.  In early June, we welcomed the first course taught by Nursing Department supervisor Qian Jin-xia and attended by managers-in-training from various departments. They learned about quality management, hearing in particular about the Nursing Department's experience in implementing the PDCA management method for improving process quality.

During the second half of the year, the courses on administration will continue to be offered on a regular basis. We invite everyone to continue their support for these wonderful courses!


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center administrative training commences for junior managers

May 30 marked the first day of sessions in the 2015 training course in administrative management for junior managers. The day's classes ended on a happy note, as the trainees drawn from different departments and branches of BenQ Medical Center having passed a day of learning together were already becoming familiar with each other.  One can be confident that everyone has already begun looking forward to the next class.


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center successfully concludes series of events celebrating anniversary

Nanjing BenQ Medical Center held a series of events during May to celebrate the seventh anniversary of its founding.

On May 19, the patient safety theme pavilion was set up in the outpatient clinic reception area for the second time in the anniversary celebration's history. Various departments worked together, creating six booths around the following themes for participants to visit: "patient identification", "effective communication", "hand sanitation", "surgical site verification", "medication safety", and "fall prevention". The booths used lively, interactive approaches to enable patients, their families, and members of the general public to gain an understanding of the work we do to ensure patient safety—all in a way that was informative, practical, and entertaining, while celebrating Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's seventh anniversary.


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center participates in local Red Cross charity event

To commemorate the world's 68th Red Cross Day, the Jiangning District Red Cross held a charity publicity event on May 8, 2015 at Jiangning District's Dongshan Plaza. Nanjing BenQ Medical Center participated as a specially invited organization. Because we had just received accreditation as a designated hospital in Jiangning District's rural medical insurance program, we took advantage of this charity event to enhance BenQ Medical Center's influence in the area. The Services Promotion Office placed great importance on this event, and through coordination with relevant offices and departments, it was able to make special arrangements for experts from the Cardiology, Neurology, and Nursing Departments to participate as a "cardiovascular disease" screening team at the event.


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center Cardiology Department helps organize a large-scale free health screening

In order to better serve the public in the Liuhe district, and raise Liuhe residents' awareness of health issues, on the morning of May 18, experts from Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's Cardiology, Urology, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurology, and Ophthalmology Departments under the coordination of the Services Promotion Office went to the Liuhe District Guabu Community health service center to provide a free health screening.


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's Cardiology Department upgrades cardiac catheterization laboratory, surgical volume rises 20%

Since March 28, 2015 BenQ Medical Center has officially commenced use of a new cardiac catheterization laboratory. The first procedure performed in the new facility was on a foreigner with acute myocardial infarction, and was a success. Beginning use of the facility not only represents an upgrade in the hospital's hardware capabilities, but also an advance in the field. Henceforth, while the original catheterization laboratory will continue to be used, the new lab will be reserved for cardiac surgeries, greatly increasing the hospital's ability to handle cardiac patients. According to figures, in just the little over a month since the use of the lab was initiated, the number of cardiac surgeries performed rose by 20%. In the future, this number is sure to rise even higher.


Nanjing BenQ Medical Center successfully holds first cross-Strait seminar on echocardiographic morphology

On May 23, 2015, the first cross-Strait seminar on echocardiographic morphology took place. The event was organized by Nanjing BenQ Medical Center's Anesthesiology Department.

Fifteen trainees from Shandong, Jiangsu, and other provinces and cities, as well from BenQ Medical Center itself interacted with enthusiasm, responding positively to the seminar, calling it lively and useful. The two-day seminar achieved the best training results through short-term but intensive instruction. In the future, further collaborative opportunities will be pursued in order to establish treatment regimes that can be followed by anesthesiologists working with patients in critical condition, enhance medical safety management, and bring quality assurance to patient care.
