Recently, China’s SP Channel Development Research Center released its report for 2011 on IT channel strategies. BenQ was cited as “Channel’s First Choice in Projectors Gold Medal, 2011”. This marked the third time that BenQ has won the award since 2008.
BenQ is not only providing channel distributors the best service and product quality with its projectors, but it is also giving sales agents operational concepts grounded in channel development and maintenance, showing them how to constantly advance and make themselves tops in their field. BenQ is building relationships built on mutual trust and interdependence, jointly laying the foundation for sustained progress. The Soul of Bread produced by BenQ Group company, Double Edge Entertainment, was on in Singapore and Malaysia in March. BenQ Singapore highly promoted this Taiwanese movie on Facebook Page, and also conducted a joint promotion with local movie publishers and U-weekly newspaper. BenQ photo scanners are sponsored as incentive gifts to encourage more people to watch “Soul of Bread”.

To well communicate BenQ product applications and key features to NS and channel partners, RO is planning product demo videos for every new model. This month 3 product videos were done by BLM Gavin and Eason. We also encourage NS to create your own videos in local language, and to share them on Youtube, which enable more people to understand our products. Here we also shared the XL2420T one done by BenQ Australia with Team Immunity, a famous local game league's help.

為鞏固在泰國的經銷商夥伴關係,BenQ於3/16,17舉辦了經銷商會議。BenQ全產品線的經銷商都前來參加,互相交流心得感想,尋求更佳的商業機會。
Gathering 105 guests from Bangkok and Up-Country of Thailand, BenQ Thailand reinforced the relationship with corporate dealers and strengthened their' confidence on BenQ in the dealer seminar on Mar. 16th and17th. Full range BenQ products including projectors, IFP, LCD monitors and digital cameras were presented, while in-depth product training was arranged. Among them, SmartEco technology, UST projectors with IWB solution and IFP were much appreciated; and all expect a better business opportunity soon. After the whole day meeting, all guests enjoyed the Thank You Party in the evening. A CSR activity, reef planning, was arranged to show BenQ's concern of environmental protection.

配合Adrian前往泰國出差之故,BenQ邀請當地媒體以及IT雜誌共同前來進行採訪,向大眾傳達BenQ的未來策略、產品趨勢和未來業務目標。
During Adrian's business trip to Thailand, BenQ Thailand invited major local newspapers and IT magazines to have a group interview on March 15th. BenQ business goals, product trends and our strengths were well communicated. BenQ RL gaming monitors and GP2 mini-projectors were highly appreciated when seeing blooming gaming cafes and iPhone/iPod users in Thailand. BenQ Thailand country head Kevin and Sales & Marketing head, Pattakorn also shot for 30%+ sales growth target in 2012.
Besides, Pattakorn was interviewed by Education Living magazine and Business Plus magazine to talk about SmartEco technology and BenQ's projection solutions.

3/23,BenQ參加了位於越南的教育相關研討會,我們的產品以研討會和roadshow的形式展現在大家面前。
On March 23rd, BenQ participated a training seminar organized by one key education SI in Vietnam. SmartEco technology and a projector lineup were introduced and live demonstrated to 100 persons from 28 branch offices. BenQ's recent progress was presented by Eric and we got very positive feedbacks from the participants. A series of school road show is under discussion to seize more business opportunities.

BenQ Singapore attended iCTLT 2012 (International Conference on Teaching and Learning with Technology) in Singapore from Mar. 29th to 30th. Over 11,000 attendees from local and overseas delegates from education sector joined this event for seeing the update-to-date educational technology. Through this occasion, BenQ Singapore reached out to the educational sector and landed some leads for future businesses.

GESS is the only exhibition covering the entire educational solution spectrum in the Gulf region with over 250 exhibitors and about 5,000 education professionals, including teachers, principals, deans, professors and VAR/SI from countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Iran, India, China, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and many more. A full-range of BenQ projectors was showcased in the event. Among them, SmartEco technology and interactive white board were live demonstrated with MX850UST and MW860USTi. Besides, GP2 mini projector impressed the consumers with its portability.

How to attract more people to know about BenQ GH700? Besides live demonstrated all BenQ DSCs at FOCUS Image Exhibition, BenQ Singapore also arranged a photo contest to encourage visitors to take nice photos with GH700. Participants took photos and submitted the best one to join the contest. All the photos were post on BenQ Indonesia Facebook for public to vote for the best one. Through this 2-week contest, 274 photos were shared and more than 4K fans were invited to give a vote and of course, became BenQ fans!

BenQ Middle East not only successfully achieved their Q1 time-to-volume target but also provided a very nice shopping experience to customers.

BenQ電競顯示器road show在菲律賓(Gaming LCD Demonstration to PC DIY Power Users in Philippines)
3/17到25日,BenQ參加了菲律賓電腦組裝賣場舉辦、以體驗電競遊戲為主的road show,2500位觀眾前來體驗。
From March 17th to 25th, BenQ participated two PC DIY power users' road shows in SM South Mall and SM Manila respectively. XL2420T and RL-series were demonstrated with Counter Strike and StarCraft II lively on-site and introduced to the participants. Around 2,500 PC DIY users joined this event and experienced the excellent features of BenQ gaming monitors. With this kind of joint promotion, we expect to reach more power users and enhance BenQ image in their minds, which also help increase our gaming LCD sell-out numbers.
Sudden Attack賽事選用BenQ電競顯示器(Sudden Attack Champions League Product Placement)
除了知名射擊遊戲CS之外,韓國玩家也將BenQ XL、RL系列電競螢幕運用在Sudden Attach這款FPS遊戲的賽事中。
Besides Counter Strike League, starting from March 5th, BenQ Korea also loaned 6 pcs of XL2420T and 20pcs of RL-series for Sudden Attack Champions League conducted by Nexon, Korean game publisher, in Yongsan Stadium, and broadcasted by CATV(Ongame.net). Sudden Attach is the most popular FPS game in Korea, and the tournament will continue till June 18th. During this period BenQ logo together with XL2420T are getting good exposure to total more than 1M audiences(Live and replay) and on-site gamers.

From March 8th to 28th, when playing Special Force II, all Korean gamers saw BenQ and XL2420T video hanging high in a billboard inside the game map. Special Force II is the 2nd popular FPS game in Korea with 1M members. BenQ Korea cooperated with CJ E&M (Netmable), the game publisher, to have XL2420T product and video placement inside the game, and also one event page to introduce XL2420T to the gamers.

幸福BenQ愛一起2012 Q1春遊精彩回顧(A look back at BenQ’s spring trip for 2012)
3/24當天一早雖然有點陰雨綿綿,但下午立刻艷陽高照,是個適合出遊的好天氣呢!BenQ總部同仁一行人來到北海岸金山野柳一帶,在雕塑作品間沾染藝術氣息、和海豚共同玩耍、並一起朝著夕陽奔跑, 在精心安排的活動中感受到許多驚喜,寫下了動人的回憶!
On March 24, though it was drizzly in the morning, the sun quickly appeared in the afternoon, making the weather just right for a trip. BenQ colleagues at headquarters ventured to the Yehliu area on Taiwan’s northeast coast. They viewed works at an outdoor sculpture museum and soaked in the arty ambience, enjoyed the antics of dolphins, and frolicked as the sun set. Through the thoughtfully organized activities, they experienced many happy surprises, leaving them with some wonderful memories.

BenQ held in February a Floor day and Training event in Guatemala with Cubix, a Guatemalan distributor. 125 people from 58 companies from the corporate channel, distribution and retail. The Focus products were the GP2 and the document camera.

This event lasted 6 days and was split in two cities Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula . Acosa is our most important customer in Honduras and handled media BenQ with their own brand, Cameras. Projectors and Monitors
The event concept is offer to the end user the tools to understand the advantages of technologies through different brands. BenQ has an important role in each marketing activity carried out by Acosa. BenQ Peru carried out in Q1 two floor days targeted to distributors and their 4 main resellers in cities of Peru, as important as its capital, Lima. The floor days and trainings pursue obtaining the loyalty of the distributors towards BenQ . During the floor days we give away prizes to the resellers when buying our products and at the same time we offer discounted prices when they buy to the distributor. After the event, we follow up in order not to lose the relation between BenQ and distributors, which have boost our resellers purchases to the distributors in 35%. To keep the distributors informed and continue with the increase in our sales, we plan to make similar events in the coming months and grasp the largest quantity of customers as possible.

2月份,BenQ在哥倫比亞Bogota和Bucaramanga分別舉辦了投影機的展示會,提高品牌知名度,且和經銷零售商繼續維繫良好的關係!
BenQ Colombia held an event in Bogota in February 2012. The main
50 attendees were Executives from the Educative sector. During this successful
event were shown the advantages of the MP780, its different functions,
and keep our customers informed about the availability of 5 service centers
across Colombia .As a result, our brand awareness among this important sector
was increased and a few projectors were sold right after the event.
BenQ held a training held in Bucaramanga , Colombia , called “ Project your ideas with BenQ”. The attendees were Resellers and several Corporations , in total 65 people. During the training all our product lines were shown with a focus in PRJ, displaying in a practical way its functioning and the connection performance via Lan and wireless, as well as its benefits and advantages against the competition.
In order to show the excellent performance of our projectors, we had 5 PRJ (MS500+, MW712, MP780ST, MS612ST y el GP2) working simultaneously and each,
projecting in different sides of the room.This event had a wonderful closure with 48 projectors sold for a local school.

BenQ Latin America is excited to announce it will have a new look in Facebook from April 1st. In keeping with the social media fever, BenQ decided to try a new
look fresh, funny and related to the Latin culture. The tabs were redesign and many games will be active, starting with the first one in April 15th with the GH700.
Based on the game winners and number of shares, the 2 main winners will get our GH700. This project will continue until September, 2012.
BenQ TFE明基職業電競隊旗開得勝(BenQ TFE pro gaming team opens tournament with a victory)
3.17,由BenQ贊助的 「2012 BET全國電競巡迴賽」上海站首戰終於在上海東方數娛網吧正式進行,本屆賽事也是是BENQ TFE明基職業電競隊自成立以來第一次在廣大電競愛好者面前正式亮相,隊員們和上海三區三強進行切磋,最後BENQ TFE以4勝1負的成績奪得了上海站的冠軍,首戰告捷!希望TFE能將上海心態延續到即將到來的武漢站,預祝他們再次奪冠!
On March 17, the BenQ-sponsored BenQ eSports Tournament 2012 held its first match, which took place in Shanghai. The tournament also marks the first time that BENQ TFE has made an official appearance in front of large audience of gamers since its founding. The team competed against three top teams from the Shanghai area, and in the end, BENQ TFE emerged as the champions of the Shanghai round with a 4-1 record. We hope that TFE can extend its winning ways at the upcoming round in Wuhan, and here wish them best on their quest for a second triumph.

BenQ Taiwan held a spring 2012 media event on 22 March, highlighting BenQ’s energetic marketing efforts on behalf of its various product lines. Through the news media, BenQ Taiwan has been able to reinforce communication to end-users and distributors. During the event, BenQ Taiwan followed the theme “Happy viewing with BenQ”, conveying the idea that BenQ is drawing on its strength in the core competitive asset of “visual technology”—complemented by the brand spirit of “enjoyment matters” and the use of differentiated products—to create delightful viewing experiences in consumers’ lives. At the event venue, BenQ Taiwan showed its major new products for the first half of 2012—large-screen TVs, LCD monitors, projectors, and digital cameras.

The first wave of TV ads for BenQ’s 3D LED-backlit VA-LCD X series monitors have aired. Targeted at fathers of children aged 3 to 7, the X series offers a convenient integrated cloud media platform with categorized content and free downloadable games, along with superb 3D performance—giving families more accessible and enhanced entertainment options.
The targeted consumer group consists of fathers who are busy with work but nevertheless hope to make the most of the time they have with their children, building their relationships. As a result, the TV commercial emphasizes this emotional appeal, while maintaining the customary cheerful tone of BenQ’s advertising. The ad features an intriguing lead-in mentioning a “little daddy”, then follows up with the surprising playful idea that “it’s easy to go from daddy to buddy”, communicating the idea that BenQ’s new monitor is not only a great way to access fun digital entertainment for the whole family, but also helps bring parents and children closer together.
