Thailand on August 6th. Besides CS:GO tournament itself, ZOWIE experience zone
with XL monitors, keyboards, mice, mouse pads, handsets, CAMADE and VITAL were
all ready for gamers to try out. The winning teams are Rebellion (Vietnam),
dream[s]cape (Singapore), nxl> (Indonesia), MVP Karnal (Malaysia) and MiTH
(Thailand), thanks to NS team’s effort to execute the tournament also market
ZOWIE and EL IP in your country. During the tournaments, we observed and
listened to gamers’ comments and glad to learn they appreciated the way we

The Sixth Yangcheng Cup tournament was
successfully held in Guangzhou from August 12 to 14. The e-sports tournament
attracted fighting game masters from throughout the country and even from
Japan, with live video streams of the matches reaching a peak of 50,000
concurrent viewers. In order to ensure fair, professional-caliber matchplay,

On July 31, a group-buying event took place at the Ningbo
International Convention and Exhibition Centre. A BenQ rear-projection
television distributor was on hand with a live demo of our ultra-short-throw
rear-projection television with a CAV stereo system, catching the attention of
numerous attendees. Around 3000 users identified as belonging to the target
group of demanding videophiles experienced the demo, and 18 units were even
sold right at the booth. With the event, BenQ has commenced deeper
collaboration with the AV equipment channel focused on our ultra-short-throw
rear-projection televisions, presenting them in complete home theater solutions
at group buying events for home products, setting the stage for a new burst of
growth in sales.

On July 31, BenQ joined forces with Movie View magazine
to organize a showing of the new film The Lost Tomb in
Beijing. In addition, the showing was complemented by a webcast that enabled
fans to interact with Xu Lei, author of the internet novel on which the film is
based, and actor Zhang Boyu, who stars in it. BenQ projectors provided viewing
with cinema-class color for attendees at the showing, which also featured an
appearance by director Daniel Lee Yan-kong, providing in-depth analysis of the
color work done for The Lost Tomb.

為什麼需要推廣翻轉教育?翻轉教育到底如何在中國課堂裡實行?為了探討這些問題,明基於2016年8月底,聯合中華數位學習學會、中華資訊與科技教育學會分別在廈門、溫州開展翻轉教育學校培訓會。會議邀請新北市教育局雲發展專案發起人王承庠,台南市安南區海東學校教務主任洪駿命博士,臺灣教育部移動學習專案傑出教師陳怡君,分享翻轉課堂推動案例、資訊化支援策略、教學應用模式等,通過類比課前線上預習、課堂中教學實戰,課後鞏固、評分等情景,讓與會的150多位學校教師收穫滿滿,翻轉課堂教育理念更加深入,推動明基翻轉教育平臺走進中國普教課堂!
Why do we need to promote flipped classrooms? And how can this
instructional method actually be used in China's schools? In order to explore
these questions, BenQ joined forces with the Association of E-Learning and the Chinese
Association for Computer and Educational Technology to organize training
workshops in Xiamen and Wenzhou, respectively, on flipped classrooms. Invited
educators from Taiwan shared their experiences with promoting flipped
classrooms, policy for digital support, and models for educational
applications. By presenting scenarios such as student previewing of material
prior to class, actual classroom instruction, post-class consolidation of
learned material, and evaluation of student learning, the workshop provided the
more than 150 teachers in attendance with bountiful know-how for taking
advantage of the flipped classroom approach in their own teaching. The event
not only built awareness of the flipped classroom concept, it helped promote
BenQ's flipped classroom solution in China's public education system.

A hands-on demo event for our eye-protective large-screen
flat-panel televisions adopted a small-group discussion format. We invited
people belonging to six segments of the population with a special interest in
eye-protective televisions—parents concerned with protecting their children's
eyes, adults caring for elderly parents with failing eyesight, newlywed couples
watching out for each other's health, singles who watch a large amount of
television, fans of hit TV series, and expectant mothers who need to take
special care of their eyes—and let them try out our large-screen flat-panel
televisions. The campaign began in late July, and was enthusiastically
received. Anyone who shared their out-of-the-box experience on their personal
blog or social media, and whose post conformed to the campaign guidelines could
take home a large-screen flat-panel television.
Additionally, for those 3C users who especially care about
picture quality, BenQ teamed up with the Mobile01 website to organize a product
tryout event featuring our 4K eye-protective large-screen flat-panel
televisions. We invited members of the online community to experience

Following up on the Peter Pan-themed videos that we released in
