In 2013, it’s the first time PAX (Penny Arcade EXPO) expanded internationally to Australia where it is now a yearly event. PAX Melbourne is undoubtedly Australia’s largest gaming expo ever, hosting a mix of gaming culture, gaming competitions, freeplay areas and vendor stands. 30,000 registered attendees frequented the event over 3 days, forcing the city of Melbourne to amend public transport timetables and host trains, trams and buses specifically for event pass holders.
BenQ Australia cooperated with Intel, Gigabyte, SteelSeries, Team Immunity, Shadowlogic, MSI, Riot Games/ACL Pro and Team.AU to place over 90 units of XL2420T, XL2720T and GW2760HS at different spaces around the event. And we are glad to hear that Team Immunity won the League of Legends Tournament and $20,000 AUD – this tournament was hosted on BenQ XL2720T Monitors.
