At 6 o’clock on the evening of September 17, the Suzhou BenQ Medical Center’s Moon Festival singing contest and barbecue banquet kicked off. BenQers gathered for the happy occasion, sharing a memorable time and enjoying delicious barbecue.

On September 22, the BenQ Foundation joined forces with Suzhou BenQ Medical Center’s Department of Gerontology to offer a lecture at the Golden Home Community, giving residents basic knowledge about how to provide first aid for stroke victims.
Suzhou BenQ Medical Center holds September social event for seniors
On the afternoon of September 23, Suzhou BenQ Medical Center’s Department of Gerontology held its monthly social for seniors in the 7th floor patient ward’s Seniors’ Activity Hall. Our hope was that the event made the Moon Festival a heartwarming and happy one for seniors staying in the hospital during the holiday.

On September 20, a workshop for mothers-to-be took place in the International Meeting Hall. With “a scientific approach to postpartum care” as its theme, the workshop attracted nearly 80 expectant mothers who learned about some of the things to take special note of regarding postpartum care.

Director Chen urged them to remind and help victims of stroke or hemiplegia to commence rehabilitation as early as possible so as not to miss the window for achieving the best outcomes.
