西班牙專業影像媒體頻道Xataka Foto針對G1做了專業的評測，提到G1的各項實用功能都能滿足中高階使用者的需求。

After testing the G1 camera on Xataka Foto, it’s said that is a robust and a high quality camera, excellent accompanied with a retro-looking cover. Its rubber grip is very useful when you use it and its swing and swivel screen is very comfortable, and the manual settings and menus, that are very well organized. Value its maximum aperture of f/1.8 at wide-angle, because a small sensor for electronic noise and a selective focus work very well. It has an OIS stabilization system, which helps speed shooting in motion, also liked his burst and display modes. They also note that the video recording is great.

The only negative is that they emphasize a missing RAW mode, and the screen does not regulate its brightness automatically.

Definitely test concludes with: "I liked the G1"
