On 31 July, ChinaJoy 2014 kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The torrid weather on the first day did not nothing to dampen the spirits of the eager gamers who attended. The BenQ gaming monitors seen so frequently at top gaming competitions around the world, along with our world-leading DLP projectors, were spotlighted at the exhibition, drawing the attention of the crowds around BenQ’s booth. At around 3 in the afternoon, Counter-Strike world champion Alex made an appearance there as well, stirring up a frenzy, with fans eager to get their photographs taken with Alex and get autographs from him. The gaming matches, personal interaction, and microblogging campaign linked to the event also proved popular.
