明基逐鹿參加經濟部主導之展示科技專題講座&技術應用探討 (BenQ Guru takes part in exhibition technology seminar and technology applications discussion led by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs)

由經濟部商業司主辦，資策會創研所及國立台北科技大學互動媒體設計研究所合作協辦之2012展示科技技術應用工作坊，明基逐鹿受邀擔任展示科技”透明螢幕”技術專家講座，與現場參與之大專院校多媒體研究所同學、業界相關廠商等，共同針對前端展示科技應用及發展，進行現場交流。

當天活動以體感互動科技與透明面板創意為主軸，先由領域先進分享相關技術與應用發展經驗，希望藉由專家的分享，能引出參與團隊更多的應用創新發想，並以分組競賽方式進行創意提案。明基逐鹿分享的智慧餐廳的完整解決方案，其中主要包括了使用透明螢幕的展示櫃、電子點餐數位看板、互動意見調查機及廣告數位看板等系統，並獲得現場參與廠商及學員的一致讚賞。

BenQ Guru was invited to give a presentation on “transparent displays” technology at the 2012 Exhibition Technology and Applications Workshop, which was organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Department of Commerce, in association with the Institute for Information Industry’s Innovative DigiTech-Enabled Applications & Services Institute (IDEAS) and National Taipei University of Technology’s Graduate Institute of Interactive Media Design. Along with students from universities’ multimedia-related research departments and vendors doing business in relevant areas, BenQ Guru engaged in discussions of client-side exhibition technology applications and development of the same.

On the day of the event, the main theme was innovation in interactive sensory technology and transparent display panels. First, leaders in the field shared experiences in the development of related technologies and applications. The hope was that the sharing by experts could inspire more ideas for new applications among participating teams, an aim reinforced by a contest for the the best proposals. The main elements in the comprehensive smart restaurant solution shared by BenQ Guru include the use of an exhibition showcase built with transparent displays, a digital ordering panel, an interactive survey device, and digital billboard. All were unanimously praised by the vendors and students in attendance.
